Danielle Hnatyshyn
Registered Psychotherapist
Adolescent 14+, Individuals, couples, and trauma survivors managing anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, and relationship challenges.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist based in Clarence-Rockland, Ontario, dedicated to supporting individuals on their path to healing and personal growth. I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming—whether you’re unsure where to begin, questioning if it will help, or simply feeling stuck. These are natural concerns, and you are not alone.
With a compassionate, individualized approach, I create a welcoming and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. My priority is building a strong therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, empathy, and collaboration. Together, we’ll work toward greater clarity, resilience, and well-being.
Experience:
I began my career in community centers, helping individuals access essential services. That experience opened the door to working with youth and families in the mental health field, where I focused on helping people tap into their strengths and develop tools to enhance their well-being. I later moved into a role supporting women who are survivors of sexual violence—a significant and humbling experience that continues to shape my therapeutic approach.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of learning from every client, colleague, volunteer, student, and collaborator that I’ve worked with. Each connection has added something valuable to my journey.
Over the years, I have trained in several innovative and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, which I thoughtfully integrate into my sessions. My mission is to empower, support, and walk alongside you as you move toward healing and personal growth.
